There is also a one player mode, which is ridiculously easy (they soon changed that for Super Bomberman 2. Shesh, it was too HARD!) but fun nonetheless. You travel few 8 worlds chasing after an evil doctor (don't ask why). To exit each level you need to bomb all the enemies on the screen and find the exit hidden in a block, you need to bomb around to uncover it. Don't bomb the exit or more enemies will come.
Not much else to say about this game, it's great fun, and if you have many joystick ports (or you could all use different keys, but that would be insane, 4 people sharing a keyboard), you can enjoy some multiplayer fun(that isn't GoldenEye, everyone is sick of it, Perfect Dark mabye) for a few minutes!
